Bayern Munich officially announced today, Tuesday, that they have signed a contract with Julian Nagelsmann, the coach of Leipzig, starting next season.
The contract of Bayern comes with the young German coach (33 years) to succeed Hans Flick, who announced his willingness to leave at the end of the current season.
Bayern Munich issued an official statement, revealing that Nagelsmann’s contract at the Allianz Arena is for a period of 5 years, starting July 1, 2021, and expiring on June 30, 2026.
“Nagelsmann represents a new generation of coaches,” said Bayern president Herbert Heiner after the announcement of the Nagelsmann contract. “Despite his young age, he has a great career.”
