Real Madrid, going through to the semi-finals of the Champions League, from Liverpool’s stronghold, “Anfield”, decided tonight, Wednesday, after a goalless draw, in the second leg of the quarterfinals.
Real Madrid won a valuable victory over the Reds in the battle to go (3-1) to his home, “Alfredo Di Stefano”, which helped him qualify, where he will face Chelsea in the semi-finals.
Manchester City
Manchester City caught up with the semi-finalists of the Champions League, after beating its host Borussia Dortmund (2-1), today, Wednesday, at the stadium “Signal Iduna Park” in the second leg of the quarterfinals.
Dortmund opened the score by Judy Bellingham in the 15th minute, and Riyad Mahrez adjusted the score (55) from the penalty spot before Phil Voden added the second goal (75).
City qualified for the semifinals, taking advantage of its victory at home in the first leg last week, also with a score (2-1), ending the knot of the quarterfinals, after leaving this role for the last three seasons.
Chelsea
Chelsea reached the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League, despite losing 0-1 to Porto, tonight, Tuesday, in the second leg of the quarterfinals at the Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium in Seville.
The only goal of the match was scored by Iranian striker Mehdi Taremi, knowing that the first leg, which took place in the same stadium, ended with a 2-0 victory for Chelsea, scored by Mason Mount and Ben Chilwell.
Paris Saint-Germain
Paris Saint-Germain advanced to the Champions League semifinals despite losing to Bayern Munich by a clear goal in the match between the two teams at the Parc des Princes on Tuesday night.
Eric Maxime Chubu Moting scored the only goal of the game in the 40th minute.
Paris climbed up thanks to its 3-2 advantage in the first leg in Munich, to be considered since the defeat against the German team in last year’s final.
