Florentino Perez, president of Real Madrid, refuses to give up the dream of organizing a new club championship in Europe under the name “Super League”.
Perez announced the organization of the new tournament a few days ago with 12 top European clubs, but the project quickly collapsed after the withdrawal of the majority.
And according to the Spanish network “Devensa Central”, Perez sticks to the Super League project and thinks that there are things in the tournament that could have been improved.
She said that Perez feels betrayed by the clubs that withdraw, but he does not mind going back to work with them to make the “Super League” project a success.
She explained that if the clubs that founded the European Super League get together and ask Perez to continue leading the project, he will definitely do so, as he is still responsible for the new continental tournament.
She said that Perez would try to talk again to all the clubs, whether they had withdrawn or did not want to enter the tournament from the beginning
