The newspaper said the perpetrator of the stabbing, according to identification documents that were found in his possession, is named “Jamal J.” From the state of Sousse, in eastern Tunisia, he is 36 years old, and he came to France in 2009, and in 2019 he obtained an exceptional residence permit and then a residence card in December 2020 valid until December 2021.
He works as a deliveryman and lives in a house in downtown Rambouillet.
While the French news agency reported that “Jamal” was not known to French security services, it quoted one of his neighbors as saying he had known him for two months in 2017, noting that he was “a Muslim who does not know him. performs his rites and lives alone. ”
According to “Le Figaro”, Jamal denounced through his posts “Facebook” Islamophobia or the words of controversial people. However, in April 2020 and during the period of quarantine, he publishes notes on prayer and Quranic verses, and on October 24, 2020, 8 days after the murder of Professor Samuel Patti, he changed the beauty of his photo on Facebook and participated in the campaign “Respect Muhammad, the Messenger of God.”
