New York prepares for Fashion Week
Far from the hypothetical atmosphere that many designers chose under difficult circumstances due to the Coronavirus during two seasons of Fashion Week, the American Fashion Association (CFDA) announced that New York Fashion Week will attend non-virtual shows during its next edition between September 8 and 12.
Health restrictions and precautionary measures will be followed in accordance with New York State health restrictions, as explained by the union.
Some expected that some fashion houses would continue to hold their shows by default, and in the previous two editions, “CFDA” encouraged designers to hold shows virtually to avoid the risk of a Coronavirus outbreak.
On a rare occasion, the end of New York Fashion Week will coincide with the Met Gala on September 13, a premier fashion event in New York where designers compete to present the strangest creations for celebrities.
