Bitcoin hits all-time high
Bitcoin reached an all-time high, hitting $64,500 on Tuesday, continuing its winning streak into 2021, and hitting a new high.
The price of Bitcoin, which is one of the world’s largest crypto-currencies, has more than doubled this year, amid the growing acceptance of the currency in the traditional financial sector as an investment tool and means of payment, and as investors seek high-yielding assets given the low-interest rates.
Major companies have either accepted or invested in crypto-currencies, including B. this. Wi-Mellon, MasterCard, and Tesla.
